(Romereports.com) During the Angelus at Castel Gandolfo, Benedict XVI said vacation was a good time to take advantage of deepening one's faith. “In the days full of worries and problems, but also in those of rest and relaxation, the Lord invites us not forget that it's necessary to worry about the material bread and restoring forces, even more fundamental is growing in a relationship with God, strengthening our faith in Him who is the 'bread of life,'” said Benedict XVI Benedict XVI explained that faith is to encounter the person of Jesus. This is not about to follow an idea, or a project, but to find Jesus as a living person and become willingly involved totally for Him and His Gospel.” Before ending the Angelus, the pope reminded that it was is celebration of the dedication for the Basilica of St. Mary Major and asked the Virgin Mary to support all Catholics in their journey of faith.
